Personal Data Policy
This Personal Data Policy is for anyone who visits Clinton Casino, opens an account or writes to our team. It covers your personal information from your first visit until we delete it.
What information do we collect?
- Account details: username, email address, home address, full name and birth date.
- Identity documents: the documents you send for our KYC checks.
- Payment details: which payment methods you use, plus your deposit and withdrawal history.
- Play data: bets, wins, sessions, bonus use and the limits you set.
- Technical data: IP address, location for geolocation checks, and device and browser details.
- Messages: anything you send to our support email.
How long do we keep it?
We hold your data for the full time your account is active. After closure, it is kept only for the period that Canadian tax law and anti-money-laundering duties require, then deleted or anonymized.
On what grounds do we use it?
- To run your account under our Player Agreement.
- To meet legal obligations covering age verification, identity checks and money laundering.
- When we have a legitimate business reason, for example fraud prevention and site security.
- With your consent, to send you marketing and to place non-essential cookies. You can withdraw this consent whenever you choose.
Do we hold data about minors?
Registration at Clinton Casino is limited to adults aged 19 or above. Where evidence shows that a person under 19 is running an account, that account is closed, any money deposited goes back to its original payment source whenever possible, and the individual's personal data is deleted, apart from any details a legal duty compels us to retain. Our 19+ Policy sets out the full rules.
How do we protect your information?
- Encrypted connections across the site and payment pages.
- Only employees whose job needs it can access your data.
- Partners bound by contract to keep your data secure.
- Regular checks of our systems for weak points.
What marketing choices do I have?
- We send marketing emails only if you opt in.
- Unsubscribe using the link in any of our emails, switch them off in your account, or email us to opt out.
- Self-exclusion stops all marketing straight away.
Why do we use your information?
- To open your account and confirm your age, identity and location.
- To handle payments and pay out winnings.
- To run games, Promotions and Clinton Rewards.
- To support safer play and spot signs of harm.
- To prevent fraud and money laundering.
- To answer your emails.
Does my data leave Canada?
A number of our partners hold or handle data in other countries. Where that happens, our agreements bind them to the same protection standard we apply in Canada. Public bodies in those countries may still be able to obtain the data under local law.
How do cookies fit in?
Our Cookie Notice explains which cookies we place and how you can manage them.
Can this policy change?
Yes. We post updates on this page and tell you by email or in the lobby when a change affects how we use your data.
Who do we share it with?
- The payment firms that handle the funds you pay in or cash out.
- Identity and geolocation partners that run our checks.
- Service partners for hosting, games, email and analytics.
- Authorities, where Canadian law requires it.
We never sell your personal information.
How can I control my personal data?
You can ask us to:
- Give you a full copy of all personal data we store about you.
- Correct any information that is wrong or no longer current.
- Delete information we no longer need to keep by law.
- Cease using your data for marketing purposes or where we rely on our legitimate interests.
Where should I send a privacy question?
Write to mail@clintoncasino.app. Before acting on your request, we may have to verify your identity.
